Skincare routine!

So I'm going to warn you. This is my skin, it's scary but it's cleared up tremendously. This post is going to be a bit picture heavy.

Disclaimer: Everyone had different skin types and issues related to their skin. Something that works for me might not work for you.

First get all your hair up out of your face.
hair

Then make sure you follow your product instructions. My first step is to wet my face.
wetface

Once that is finished take your cleanser and apply.
I'm using Olay Moisture Balancing Foaming Face Wash.
olay

Rinse and then either repeat with the same cleanser or use another. I like to vary this step up. I take Clean n Clear's Deep Action Cleanser because it's a lot better for my drier skin and gives me a deep down clean feeling.
cleannclear

Here we go with the scary face!

Every few days I exfoliate with either St.Ives Apricot Scrub or Clean n Clear's Morning Burst Facial Scrub

The final step after rinsing is to moisturize. I don't use toner anymore but if that's in your routine feel free to use it.

I use Cetaphil's Daily Lotion because I find it's much nicer than their Facial Lotion

There we go!
Video to come with much more detailed review of the products mentioned.

I've lost my mind!

I've lost not only my mind but my sleep schedule, my immune system and my camera usb cable.

I will be on a mission after I get home from school today to crash and nap.
After that mission is complete the next is to take my nuclear disaster of a room and turn it into something Mary Poppins will be proud of.

Oh and when I'm done with that which will mean I'll find the cable because I know it's in here somewhere. I have LOTS of pictures to show you guys!

PS: How do you like the new layout? I didn't like having anything from another person. Btw thanks to my bestie Allie for my banner!

April 09 favorites!

Clean n Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub:
I'll be doing a video on my skincare routine in a bit but I recently picked this up and it's amazing. The microbeads are fine enough to be gentle but large enough to really get that exfoliating action. I love the feeling that it brings, not the tight tingly feeling but a fresh awake feeling. I always feel clean after using this. I use it about once every couple days. Must have from now on! Plus I picked it up for 2/8, this little baby only cost me four bucks!

Ecotools Mineral Brush set. 5 piece kit.
MUST HAVE. I am going to collect all of Ecotool brushes. I have the 6 piece kit which is amazing. I've lost the liner and the brow brush from that but am so going to go get another set. The mineral set comes with a concealer, baby kabuki brush, a powder brush which I find perfect for blush or loose powder and a blending brush which is worth ten dollars by its self. So getting myself a back up for this kit as well.

Magneteyez by Spell Cosmetics.
First off, I want to say. I was sent this by my wonderful online boyfriend, Gemma. LOL I'm just joking but he really truly is amazing. I hate when I watch a review from gurus who are sent things and never admit to the freebies. We all know those certain few who like to sway their opinions on a product to keep their freebie suppiler happy. I'm not one of them. On to the product, it's a wonderful eye primer. I have used various other primer dupes and have tried UDPP or TFSI in small samples but this is by far the easiest and non stickiest feeling primer I have used. With UDPP and TFSI I felt like the primer made blending harder than it would have been without primer. MagentEyes goes on smooth and clear which makes blending effortless. A must have staple for me with a much more detailed review to come.

Lash Stiletto by Maybelline.
Omg! Perfection in a chic tube! A much much more descriptive review to come. I use this daily and will be stocking up! Maybelline is the QUEEN of Mascaras.

NYX eyeshadow 'Chocolate'
I love this color for a matte neutral brown. Dark enough to have some pop but soft enough to be a perfect day time look.

NYC Loose Powder in Translucent.
The most amazing loose powder ever. I use it daily and will never give this product up, ever. For 2.99 it's the best deal out there! Smoothness and setting in a large circular container. <3

New year, new start!

I'm so happy that the new year is finally here.
I'm really looking forward to changes.
I haven't set any resolutions because I really want to figure what I want to do.
Currently I'm in Illinois with the boyfriend and should be home soon, I can't figure how to get his camera or webcam to do video. :(
I'm having a fun time here, getting to know his family and his hometown.
Plus I've been happy going shopping at the new shops here! :)

I've done a bit of shopping so prepare for a haul video when I get home!

What's your new years resolution?

Right now I'm thinking about working on
Time management
Reducing stress
Fitness
Looking for a job!
And cramming the school work I need to get done!

I'm lazy.

I've been sitting back and really doing nothing but sleeping the past few months.
I've got eleven days till my trip and I'm going to try to get all my coursework done before then!
LOL.
I did three classes in two days last year.
It's possible.
Anyways since both the brother and the SIL are working tonight, VIDEO TIME!
:)

Any ideas/requests?

I'll have a FOTD up later.
Expect changes on my blogspot!

Where oh where has little Sarah been?

I've been here suprisingly.
I've been completely boggled down with non stop family and never a moment of my own.
I did a vlog last night which I'm still iffy if I'll post.
Most likely I'll redo it.
I appreciate all the love and support you guys have given me!
Anyways I'm going to be going to see the boyfriend on the 20th, yay!
I'll be sure to do my "hot girl" look as Jenn requested!
Any ideas?
My boy doesn't really like the whole eyeshadow thing so I'm trying to think of a good look. Plus I'll be seeing his family and LOL don't wanna look like a mail order bride!

So we've got what three weeks till Christmas/Hanukkah.
I was raised with both Judaism and Catholicism in my family so I celebrate both.

What's on YOUR wish list? ;)

Neutral Eye requested by Babylc26 aka Nancy!

So Nancy asked for a natural/neutral look. I think this might be a little bit darker than "natural" but you guys tell me what you think!

*I plucked my brows right before this so my skin looks a bit pinkish.

First start off with something to prime your lids. I chose my handy dandy E.L.F. all over cover stick in fair.

Photobucket

Then take a chocolatey brown color and place it in the out corner of your eyes and a bit in the middle. Use whatever medium shadow brush you feel comfortable with and a crease brush. :)

I used Revlon's Blazen Berry quad's dark brown. This quad is pretty old lol! I don't know if they sell this anymore but you can find tons of dupes.

Photobucket

After than take a light vanilla taupe color and place in the inner tearduct and the inner 1/3 of the eyelid. I used a smaller concealer brush for this.

BLEND BLEND BLEND!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Add some liner and some mascara. Don't forget to curl your lashes and then you're finished!
Simple and Easy, eh?

PRODUCTS USED:
Revlon Brazen Berry Quad dark brown color 5.99$

E.L.F. 1$

Maybelline Lash Expansion 1.70$ :)

My return!

Long time no see!
So I've been a bit MIA in the past few weeks.
There has been tons of stuff happening and now I have my brother Phillip and his fiancee Audrey who I adore living with us.
My mother and step father are in a divorce which was long overdue.
While we're in a better mental and physical health, fincially we're a bit screwed so family is really helping us out.
I really wish the economy and especially the housing market would pick back up again because we might like to sell the house but can't due to the market.
Anyways enough about that.
I switched Audrey into a EDM user which has helped with her skin.
I feel secretely like a drug dealer for EDM! LOL.
She gave me some minis from her sample kit that were my color but too light for her.
We now have one dog Remy and three cats. All of the cats are bigger than Remy so it's amusing.
My bestie Brit's dogs had puppies and we've decided to keep one to share since we're going to live together and we wanted a shared dog since we have seperates.
Any names?
We still haven't chosen if we want a girl or a boy.
:) I might get some pictures up soon.

Also I'll have a photo tutorial up for you all.

Requests baby!
<3

Btw! Thanks for everyone for the love and support I've gotten!

In other news:
I'll have some new videos up, any requests?

Possible EOTD later today!

Welcome to the White House.

"Change has come to America."- President Barack Obama.

While I do not and I will not share my personal political beliefs in my videos, I will have my blog.
I am a young girl who hasn't been on this earth for very long but history classes catch you up quick with what has happened. I was raised by a very strong willed mother because of that, I soon got into politics at an early age. I'd lost a lot of hope in our nations government after 9/11. I lived on a military base and the shock that everyone around you is involved in war, is not an easy one. You don't know if you'll ever see your neighbor, your parent, your brother/sister, your friends parents, ever again. With a time of war and a failing economy, I knew we needed change, as did many in this country. People who have worked hard their entire life for whatever they earned are losing everything now. I myself now live in a house in a nice suburb which housing market has crashed, our house is worth less than what we owe on it. At that point, I knew again we not only needed change, we needed hope. About a year an a half ago, I had heard about Barack Obama and his speeches intrigued me. I'd never seen someone of recent who could speak and inspire the way he does. I followed the election day in and day out, and smiled as Obama climbed his way to the top. As the votes came in last night, I cried. I cried because I knew that that same man who I had been looking up to, had finally won. I am not of voting age but the long lines that I saw were something that to me was shocking. No matter what candidate those people were voting for, because I do believe you need many different voices and opinions, they were looking for change too. I am proud to be an American.I am fifteen years old and I can't wait for the next four years and everything that follows.

When times get low.

Blogging and youtube can fix almost anything.
I'm so glad I found youtube and started to make my own videos.
As cheesy as this may seem, I've found some of the greatest people.
Despite drama which I've been luckily enough to not have to deal with,
the make up community is such a AMAZING group.
I've gone so far in the past four months in my make up knowledge.
I had no idea what a base was.
Anyways I just am really glad that I found a great outlet with amazing people to listen.
It's great.

I should have quite a few videos coming up tonight and throughout the weekend.
Everyday Minerals comes next week.
I'm so obsessed with them.

Here you go Holly. You got the life blog out of me.

Guess what.
I lied.
I was going to update everyday, and I didn't.
I kinda thought I'd leave this just for make up but no, I'm going to do vlogs and blogs.
Thanks to Holly.
Who is a freaking doll.
www.youtube.com/user/notmyselfusee
She got me back into blogging.
So you can thank all of the upcoming rants and random posts.
Let's see, what really has been going on in my life?
Family and the comfort of the sweet, loveable, relaxing bed.
I've been ultra lazy lately.
I need to stop with that.
I think I'm sure that I'm going to stick with my SKonline[ the program I'm in for online learning.]
I don't really feel like going through this year at 5 am to 2 pm.
Especially with one teacher trying to teach 35 kids.
I'll save that for senior year.
As I mention this, I don't mind if you disagree with my choice in being educated online.
Although allow me to tell you why it, in my opinion, is much better than public face to face schooling.
1. 1 teacher x 35 kids= not much time to answer questions.
2. Who really enjoys getting up at 5 am after a night filled with insomnia and usually running on an hour or no sleep.
3. Being able to sleep in and plan your schedule around whatever you want it.
4. Having less stress about clothes, hair, make up, and that other annoying shit that can get old quick every single day.
5. After losing a friend in VT, I have a phobia of school shooters.
6. Being able to ignore your teacher's email.
7. Instant grading and being able to get everything done and having months off.
8. Ability to watch t.v., youtube, surf the web and music while studying and whatever else I may be doing.
9. Better selection of courses.
10. Tattered, torn, and disgusting 5 year old school books or clean highlighted, defined, clear text?

I could go on but I won't bore you more.

Off to Sally's or wherever I end up at.
I need some starbucks.
Seattle coffee filled veins, I tell you.
